Crockpot Chili

1 lb ground turkey

3 links Italian sausage, mild

1 can tomato puree

1 can diced tomatoes

1 can pinto beans, drained

1 can kidney beans, drained

1 can black beans, drained

1/2 medium yellow onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 jalapeno, de-seeded, de-veined, minced

pinch cayenne pepper

1 bay leaf

1 beef bouillon cube

1/4 tsp parsley flakes

1/8 tsp paprika

1/8 tsp thyme

1/8 tsp chili powder

1/8 tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp sage

1/4 tsp cilantro

1/8 tsp oregano

  1. Fry the turkey in a pan until all is crumbled and browned. Add to crockpot.
  2. Fry the sausage until all is crumbled and browned. Add to crockpot.
  3. Add onion, garlic, jalapeno and spices.
  4. Add beans and tomatoes.
  5. Turn crockpot on high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally (no more than once an hour).
  6. Lower crockpot to low for two hours or until ready to serve.
  7. Serve with cheese and sour cream.
